My Crappy Poetry--Page Two
At some point, there was something cool somewhere in these poems, or I wouldn't have kept them.  See if you can find the cool parts!  It's kinda like Where's Waldo...

Hello
When I first saw you
I didn't think twice
I knew you were the kind of boy
that all the girls would like
Your eyes, your hair,
your smile, your hands
You're so beautiful
I knew I'd never have a chance

But then I heard you speak
How could I have been so weak
I tried so hard to lose this love I'd found
I thought the wall I'd built
around my heart was air-tight
I've always pushed love away
with all my might
But then you came along
I guess I built my wall too low
'Cause all you had to do
to knock it down was say,
"Hello"

It wasn't just "hello"
that made me fall
It was your mind, your heart,
your soul, I loved it all
And that sentenced me to death
But then, I already knew
that I was gone with one breath.

Finally, I embraced this love
I stumbled upon
But when I looked up
you were already gone
So everything I'd predicted came true
But it was all my fault,
it was not because of you

I love you,
but I couldn't say it in time
I need you
What can I say to make you mine
This wall has crumbled
beneath your touch
And I know I would do the same
Because I love you so much.

The Sky Was on My Side
It rained the day you left.
I wouldn't have wanted the sun to shine.
I just hope the rain was behind you
the whole way.
I know my tears were.
The sky cried with me.
The sky was on my side.
The drops you thoughtlessly
wiped off your windshield
were the same as the ones
that stained my pillow.
If the sky continued to cry with me,
it would be raining still.
Although the sky got over you,
she still thinks of you sometimes
and it rains again.
Whenever it rains, I think of you.
Whenever the sun shines, I think of you.
I think of you when I cry,
and I think of you when I laugh.
It's raining.
What are you thinking of?

So, did you find anything?
